To all pool players.
TAP Austin and the Association for Pool support the game of pool and the people who choose to play it. We being players ourselves, want to see the game grow in popularity. It is our desire for all to play the game and we hope that you choose play in TAP. All TAP members are welcomed and encouraged to play in other league formats. We will not kick out a player for playing in another league or asking their friends to play with them in another league. We hope that TAP is your first choice, but we also know that your game will benefit by playing in other formats. Rules and formats are different, and will help each player develop different aspects to their game. It is important that all TAP members know that this is your league. You do not belong to TAP, but TAP belongs to you. We encourage everyone to play as much pool as possible and grow as players. Have fun and enjoy it, after all it is just a game. Tell all your friends to play TAP!!

Mark Evers (Co-Owner/League Operator of TAP Austin Pool League, LLC)- a native Austinite born at Seton Hospital. Started playing amateur pool in 2000 as a member of the Leftovers 8 Ball team. Currently a skill 4 in amateur competition and has competed in Nationals, Local Championships and Divisional Championship events. Graduated with honors from LeTourneau University with a Bachlor's Degree in Business Management. He recently obtained the Chartered Retirement Planning Counsoler, CRPC designation from the College for Financial Planning. He also now has his own Financial Planning practice. He is married to Melissa and has 2 dogs, Jackie (a Jack Russell) and Benji (Silky Terrier).

Matt Urbanek (Co-owner/ League Operator of TAP Austin Pool League, LLC)- a native Austinite as well. Started playing amateur pool at Southwest Texas State University in 1994. Then joined A Pool Amatuer league in 2000 with the team called the Leftovers. Currently a skill level 6, Matt has played in numerous amateur pool tournaments, taken many teams as captain to divisional playoffs, city championships and National events. Has played in both 8-Ball and 9-Ball leagues for over 5 years. Was a divisional rep for a year in a previous pool league. One Openings to support the league.
- A Division Manager and or League Operator to assist in running/building out South Austin.
- This opening is a paid opportunity and requires someone with a business/entrepreneur mind set, a passion for the game of pool, and someone not afraid of approaching people in bars and pool halls. A background in management and sales is preferred. A degree is a plus but not required.
